The Power of a Personal Experience Hook

The video 'hook' landscape is changing.

Generic, overdone hook formats like, "3 Tips For New Dog Owners", just ain’t cutting it anymore.
I believe switching the narrative to your personal experience is where it’s at!!

So what should you try instead??

“My puppy’s first day at home was a disaster, BUT I learned 3 very important things in the process…” 

See how much more curiosity this sparks?

People are naturally curious about other's personal experiences, so including ‘My’ or ‘I’ language in your hook is really going to help draw people in.

Now let me be clear. This doesn’t mean you should stop providing value in your video. I’m simply saying, changing the perspective of how you deliver that value is going to help you break through the noise on social and set yourself apart.
